In her work, Arpi Sahr uses cut blocks of wood, nails, paint, photographic negatives, slide film, wire and blank and printed photographic paper. Each piece is a unique combination of the materials arranged rhythmically across the surface with a surprisingly minimal, yet narrative and musical result.
Sahr studied art history at George Washington University and painting at the Art League School. She also studied drawing in Paris and music in London.
